[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] holidaywishes
So far I've only been able to grant a few wishes (I'm on a tight budget), but I'll be watching this community all month, looking to help out in any way I can manage. Here's my list:

- Target gift cards
- Lands' End gift certificates
- a gift certificate to any bookstore in Berkeley, CA (or just to Barnes & Noble)
- a paid copy of LifeBalance (Palm edition)
- a reasonably well-paid, sit-down, non-retail job somewhere in the Bay Area, starting in May or so, that requires good math or English skills but not much in the way of prior work experience
- a decent raincoat or trench coat, black, preferably calf-length, in men's Small or women's Medium
- a Utilikilt (black twill, Mocker-style, 34" waist)
- more people coming to hear Bay Area Classical Harmonies (we're doing a couple of chamber concerts that aren't on the website, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oakland, CA on the 11th and Arlington Community Church in Kensington, CA on the 18th)
- any of the following card games: Guillotine, Munchkin, Munchkin Bites, Hex Hex, Quiddler
- recipes for wheat-free baked goods, or information about where they can be bought in or around Berkeley or Oakland

1 C peanut butter (any kind, but I love the chunky in this)
1 C sugar
1 egg
1 T vanilla

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix the peanut butter and sugar. Don't eat it all at this stage or you won't have cookies. Add the egg and vanilla. Once it's all well mixed, drop it by the Tablespoon onto a parchment covered cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 8 - 10 minutes.

Prepare yourself for a life of addiction to the cookies.
