Hey, I stumbled onto this community just today. I love the whole idea and have been doing my best to grant wishes for random people as well as friends, now here I have a whole master list. :) So I'm off to do that, but here's my list as well. ^.^

1. Cards and/or letters and/or pictures or anything like that from anyone who will mail them to me. I love getting mail. -.- Email is great too. ^.^
2. Another year of health and happiness for my family and friends.
3. To make some new friends.

5. Any of the stuff on my Amazon wishlist.
6. Extra icon space on LJ.
7. Reccomendations for books, movies, and/or music and why. ^.^ Especially anything young adult, victorian, or about vampires. But I'm bored this holiday with out much to do so would love to know of some good books and movies to pass the time.

If you want to email me a snail mail address at karydwyn71@aol.com; I will mix some of my favorites and send them to you.

As far as book recommendations, the newest (very very light and fluffy) vampire series I have come across is by Mary Janice Davidson - "Undead and Unwed" and "Undead and Unemployed". Very very light vampire books.

Hmm, book recs. I'm really fond of P.N. Elrod's vampire detective series. They're quite good. I also like her Jonathan Barrett series. Ooh, and Fred Saberhagen's Dracula books are great, too.

Hi!

I tried to do the iPOd thing. Not sure if it worked... but I tried.

As for referrals for Vamp novels... you might have read both since they're popular... but..
Anne Rice... Interview with the Vampire and the Vampire Lestat are the two first books of her vampire chronicles. They're awesome
Also try Laurell K. Hamilton's vampire series (omg... the names escape me). But... a very different kidn of vamp novel. And... very enjoyable.

Hope you like these.

Have you read George RR Martin's Fevre Dream? It's got vampires on a riverboat.
