what a fun idea ...

here's my list ... and i'm off to see if there are any wishes i am able to grant ... i love giving :)

1. paid LJ time so i can have fun icons & stuff

2. fun icons for #1 - disney (esp cinderella's castle), john taylor/duran duran, scarlett o'hara, or "invisiblegirl" --something along the lines of those "friends picture posts" - those were cool :)

3. duranduran Tshirt - vintage or new astronaut ... size XL

4. photoshop and microsoft office 2003 - actually need this for school but have squeezed by with an earlier version so far (won't work much longer tho) ... if anyone has "connections" where i can get a licensed copy ... more stuff on my amazon wishlist ... i also think gift certificates ROCK and would love one from hobby lobby, barnes & noble, sam goody, kohl's, target, children's place, or anything i can use online :)

5. plane ticket for spring so i can be sure to see at least one duranduran concert ... or a VIP deal for denver or vegas (getting to meet the band of my dreams after 20+ years would definitely be outta this world)

6. disney movies on dvd - i have a couple, but with two girls, i'd love to have a nice selection ... also, winnie the pooh or baby einstein videos/dvds

7. there are some prominent gaps in my music collection ... specifically duranduran albums (as in vinyl) - anything after notorious (avid vinyl lover & am getting a turntable system for christmas! yay!) ... also JT solo stuff (have feelings are good) ... and i love bootleg stuff, live recordings & anything on video/dvd (have decade & greatest)

8. a new vacuum cleaner - mine doesn't clean worth a flip anymore ... i'd love an oreck - borrowed mom's and it rocks!

9. highly unlikely, but i'd love to meet someone who lives in my area (rural southeast colorado) and shares some of the same interests ... sounds pretty silly, but i'd love a "friend" - don't really have one out here since i've moved here

10. while i'm "wishing" i'll add one more ... i'd love an affordable house to rent with a nice yard for my girls to play in :)

thanks for that link. i have signed up for the nearest city group (not a lot of members, but we'll see how it goes) and will keep my eyes open for a vacuum :)
