Happy New Year everyone!

First, a quick note: The last date for posting wishlists is January 15th. So you still have time to get them in, even though Christmas is over! Also, around the 15th, we'll be posting a few feedback posts or polls so you can let us know how you thought this year went and if you have any suggestions for next year.  We'd love it if many of you would participate!

Also, this is your open thread, so feel free to talk about anything here! How did you celebrate the new year? Do you have any New Year's resolutions?

So glad it's not just me. Like another poster says, I just look at it as extending the season. I know I looove to receive "late" presents! That way it doesnt seem like such a long time til the next holiday season.

I joined the community 'change_2008' and have been working on my goals for this year already! It's a neat little community- I'm hoping several of the folks there will stick with it all year!

Those of you with gifts to still send...just think of it as extending the holiday cheer a bit longer. And when the person receives it, they will most likely be a lot more surprised with it being held off as long as it has. :)

Just a quick comment to all those who I promised wishes to but who haven't received them yet -- my life went a little crazy starting the second week of December, so I'm behind. But if I promised you a wish, be assured that it's on its way -- it's just taking me a little time to recoup and get back in the swing. Big batch of packages going out this weekend, I promise :)

I just wanted to tell everyone that promised something too sorry for not getting it out sooner. I will get them out to you as soon as I can. Right now the stuff is sitting in my bedroom in boxes waiting for the money to get sent. Sorry! Stuff just went wrong last month it seems. But it will get sent out to you I swear!

Holiday Wishlist ROCKS!

I still want to grant wishes Holidays or not. ^__^ I got some great things from this! Not a lot but it made my holidays a lot brighter!

I had a great New Year's with my mom playing games and making noise at midnight.

I've even started off the year debt free! ^____^

Maybe an idea for next year is for people to not put expensive things on their lists? Maybe more swapping things? just some random thoughts.

Although I managed to send everything away on time (i.e. before Christmas Eve), I have as of yet only received one feedback and I do hope all the packages actually made it!

But I received a bunch of the sweetest cards and a Gilligan-wallpapaer promise, as well as a Mike Logan icon. I can't wait for those!

My Christmas was nice, spent it with my family as usual and we all had great fun. I totally loved this community and I'm in love with it's idea, so I'll definitely be back next year!
