my christmas list
Dec. 3rd, 2004 12:14 amdeeder's christmas list:
1. to stop smoking for good: im almost there, but i've had a couple setbacks in an otherwise long stretch nicotene free
2. a job: i work retail. the hours suck, the pay sucks, its NOT full-time, and i didnt go to college to be abused by rich eurotrash.
3. for NY and Baltimore to magically become a ten-minute commute: long distance dating blows
4. no more politics: im tired of hearing about it.
5. for napster to return to its fuller glory: i miss the original, and it's freeness.
6. world peace: yeah, i know...
7. for my tendonitis to go away: my wrists have suffered enough.
8. tickets to sundance: of course, i'd need a movie reviewing job first...
9. for my allergies to magically disappear: so i could emancipate my slavery to prescription drug companies
10: for something in my life to be perfectly fine: im not picky, any facet will be fine.
ok, for the list of stuff that could actually happen:
1. a new digital camera: in a perfect world, a top of the line hybrid film/digital with anti-shake technology that takes black and white pictures as well as a manual and weighs nothing...ill settle for one that works.
2. a good haircut: one that i can manage without too much trouble.
3. a new wallet: mine died.
4. a new watch: one that has the face on top of a leather band, so the nickel in the back doesn't give me a rash.
5. the kids in the hall vol. 1 and 2: nuff said.
6. a plane ticket to london: to visit kim before she comes back to the states.
7. silver and gold chains: my hair eats them. im down to one silver chain that gets worn so often its guaranteed to die soon.
8. enough money to catch up on my cd collection: need new albums from cake, jon spencer blues explosion, jimmy eat world, velvet revolver....cant think what else, but the list is long.
9. one of those boards that hook up to your computer and u use a pen instead of a mouse, which would help my tendonitis and improve my photoshopping: hells yeah.
10. george carlin's new book: the only one of these ill probly get.
so what do you want?
