tis the season...
Dec. 2nd, 2004 10:45 pmMY Holiday Wishlist:
1. Photo album pages from Light Impressions (and I could use another album as well - either in the light grey/midnight or the Black/grey colors). For the pages, I use the "9211" ones, with 6 4x6 pockets.
2. Wal-mart gift card
3. a donation (either time or money) to your local animal shelter and/or a local rescue group
4. drawing of a female elf, dark hair, possibly gothy
5. yankee candle (or generic) votives, any of the following scents: apple cider, christmas cookie, french vanilla, macintosh, nutmeg & cedar, pumpkin pie, strawberry guava, vanilla caramel, or anything along those types of yummy lines
6. either one of these posters:

I've looked for the Draco one online, but haven't found it. The Puss in Boots one can be found in various incarnations here, I'd be thrilled with either the full size 23x35, the 16x20 or the framed 18x22. I added the Puss in Boots one after hearing the Draco one was like $30 on ebay.
7. elimination of my debt
8. music I might like, but haven't heard yet... surprise me (I favor hard rock, but rarely listen to the radio, so there's a lot I haven't heard, old... new... doesn't matter)
9. any of the books off my wishlist, or anything you think I might like (even if you just recommend it, that'd be great too, I can then go check the particular books out at work). Authors I enjoy include: Neil Gaiman, Christopher Moore, John Grisham, Dennis Lehane, Patricia Cornwell, Dan Brown, Robert Jordan, Raymond E. Feist, George R.R. Martin, Bret Easton Ellis, and obviously JKR. I have books by, but have not yet read Clive Barker and Dean Koontz, but I've been told I'd probably like them. So any recommendations along those lines would be wonderful!.
10. any of the following dvd box sets (new, used, whatever) -> Buffy S2, QAF S2, Angel S5, any X-Files seasons except 1 and 3, any of the West Wing seasons or Oz seasons, Forever Knight S1, La Femme Nikita S1 and any of the following Farscapes -> 3.1, 3.4, 3.5, or any of season 4

# 9
Date: 2004-12-03 03:34 pm (UTC)~Rosemary Edgehill's mystery series. The first book is called Speak Daggers To Her. It and it's sequels are murder mysteries set within New York City's neo-pagan community.
~Anything by Melanie Rawn. Good fantasy set in complicated worlds. The Sunrunner books are pure fantasy; the Exile books are kind of like Anne McCaffery's Pern books in that it reads like fantasy but has a science fiction foundation.
~Stephen R. Donaldson's series about Thomas Covenant. The first book is called Lord Foul's Bane. He wrote one trilogy in the late 70's, another in the mid 80's, and the third trilogy has just started to be available.
enjoy!

Date: 2004-12-04 02:36 am (UTC)I'm kind of looking for something like Link (see icon), except more like me... me being female, black hair, blue eyes. It'd be really cool if she was either goth-like and/or bondage-like. Wings optional. :-)
Thanks!
