one of my wishes on my list has been fulfilled, but i know it wasn't anything anyone could've possibly done themselves ... unless one of you out there in readerland has an obscene amount of rank in the navy.

my husband will be home tomorrow.

needless to say, one of the most important things on my list is now scratched off.

i just wanted to let everyone that i promised a card to know that i have made out my cards and it's just a matter of getting to the post office. i don't know if aaron has any crazy plans made for when he first gets here, but i'm hoping to have everything out on monday. stateside, it should only take a couple of days. internationally, i believe i heard it takes about a week. either way, everything should be delivered before christmas. i just wanted to give everyone a heads up as to how i've been slacking lately.

i also hope that everyone else can have one impossible wish granted for them. it really does mean so much when something huge comes out of nowhere. i wish the happiness i am currently feeling to spread to everyone else this year. happy holidays everyone.

now i need to get my husband's shopping done. oy, this will be tough.

i think i'm happier for him than i am for me. he's been through a lot these last 7 months and now he gets to be lazy for 10 days while his wife keeps him up late and his daughter grins at him nonstop. that's the best therapy.

I am so happy for you two! I have a friend who just went overseas and another who is leaving in a month and a half and I would love nothing more to see them both come home safe, so I know where you are coming from. Im glad your wish came true and I hope you guys have an awesome holiday! :-D

we'll sure try! i had a friend who spent quite awhile in iraq. he came home for about a week and then went right back. aaron was about the 4th or 5th person i've met in the nearly 3 years i've lived in this area that i've had to send off on deployment. it was tough to say goodbye to friends, but your husband is a whole other story. i hope your friends return safe and soon. :)
