1.
2. Full-time jobs for me and my partner - We both lost our jobs this year, me in March and her just a week ago. My unemployment has run out and she's ineligible because she worked for a non-profit. We need full-time work, but with the way the job market is (I've been looking since March!), we also need all the help we can get. So if you have job leads in the St. Louis Metro-East area for any of the following, please e-mail me: administrative assistant, secretary, receptionist, file clerk, legal secretary, courier or delivery job that does not require a CDL. LGBT supportive companies are a plus, especially if they offer domestic partner benefits.
3. Donate to the ASPCA or a local animal shelter in your area. If the shelter is no-kill, that's even better, but I understand some areas don't have no-kill shelters. Save animal lives!
4. If you're looking to add a pet to your family, adopt from a shelter instead of going to a breeder. Unless you're looking for a show dog, there's really no true need for you to put more money into a breeder's pocket when shelters are overflowing. Shelter dogs are great! If you're set on a purebred, there are breed specific shelters out there. Some of them will even arrange transport if you're not local.
5. E-cards. I like funny, animated e-cards. My favorites are Hallmark's pink cat and green bunny, and also Maxine.
6. Scratch-off lotto tickets.
7. Two tickets to a St. Louis Blues (NHL) home game. Preferably 100-level or lower, but beggars can't turn down the nose-bleeds. :op
8. Help paying for the tattoo that I want. My guess is that it'll cost at least $100, if not more.
9. Treats for my dog. She likes Pupperoni, Beggin' Strips, and Snausages. Basically the soft, chewy kind of treats. She won't eat crunchy stuff, and she doesn't like peanut butter.
10. Collectible shot glasses. I started a shot glass collection last Christmas and wish to expand it.
You can contact me at asifyousaw@gmail.com to get any additional information you may need. Thanks in advance.

Date: 2008-12-02 04:07 pm (UTC)This is Sir Didymus the night we found him. To give you an idea of where he was, the intersection we live at is so busy there's about a car accident a week. He was emaciated, so flea ridden he was anemic, had ear mites, and tons of worms.
Soon after we found him:
More recently -- all handsome and clean. Check out his polydactyl toes!
And loving with his friends:
(Att is the black one and Munch is the grey)
