Hooray for the Holidays!

I'm Tory, 22 from NJ. I've been holding off on posting my list, but I finally think that I'm ready! I've been granting some wishes here and there, and I hope to be granting a great many more! :) Holiday Wishes is defnitely one of my favorite things about this season.


1. My Little Ponies. I collect all of them, though I particularly like the old, vintage ones.

2. Breyer model horses.I collect any of the various sizes... I can't get enough of them. They comprise the majority of my decorating scheme.

3. Stuff for my horse. New, used, doesn't matter! This is the first Christmas where I don't have to put "A PONY!" on my list, which is really exciting. (Got him at the end of April-- last year on my wishlist I'd mentioned trying to earn the money to buy him. It all worked out.)
He breaks halters like nobody's business, and I'm slowly building my arsenal of horse-supplies. As for details- his name is Sergeant Pepper, he's 1.5 years old, already 15.2 hh, red dun gelding. (Yep, that's him in the icon) I ride English-- though, he's not being ridden yet, so my tack needs are mercifully few. I'll take any-and-all horse related stuff I can get.

4. Snail mail of any sort! Holiday cards, postcards, letters, etc! I love getting mail. (Especially mail that isn't a bill, now that I'm living on my own!)

5. Books off of my To Read list! Used is just fine-- I think that used books have character! Also, I'm open to trying out any fantasy book. (Or other good non-fiction, but fantasy is my first love.) So if it's not on that list, feel free to send it along or simply recommend it! (There's a list of everything I have read here (minus the few that are at the bottom of the To Read list).

6. Seeds! Come spring, I turn my tiny balcony into a jungle. I love growing plants from seed, so if you have any spare seeds lying around, send them my way!

7. Be openminded this holiday season. (And, hopefully, throughout the year!) Towards people of other races, political views, dating preferences, etc. Think about the alternate viewpoints a little more, and judge them a little less.

8. A Nintendo DS. Yep, there's my long-shot for the list. ;)

9. Make a donation to an animal welfare group. My personal groups of choice are horse related-- Habitat for Horses and The Horse Protection Association of Florida. Comment with where you donated to :)

10. Ornaments! This is the first year I'll have my very own tree. Homemade or not, I'd appreciate any!

Nope -- I have class at 6 (till 9). BUT, if you're going to be on College Ave at all beforehand (or anywhere else near campus) I can totally drop them off with you!

I got the seeds today; thanks so much! :) I can't wait to start planting... my balcony will be filled with color! I especially adore morning glories... I brought mine inside this year, and they're still blooming! But I'll definitely need to plant more of them, so the seeds will come in handy!
