Donate to the needy, or spend some time at a shelter. Sometimes what the less fortunate than us need is not a crumpled dollar but the warmth of human companionship and a voice that cares and offers hope. Old worn coats, boots that are still good, clothes too are needed during the winter. Donations to charities, even blood donations are highly needed this time of year too. Give to the world and the world will return in kind.

The economy blows this year, so I'll understand if people are tight with the purse strings... and nothing that I want is all that expensive anyways, the only other thing I want, like my BF to be able to live in the same state with me are things I can't get fulfilled yet - he's in the UK and well, I'm here in the states. Our favorite economic airline went bust and we're stuck without seeing each other for a long time. Change to the stupid immigration rule would be nice too.

I could not agree with this more. I am ALL about donating and volunteering and the like this season! :)
