Dec. 2nd, 2008 01:27 pmHello! I'm Alexis and I'm currently going to college to major in English with an Emphasis on Creative Writing. I'm contemplating adding a History major. I am loving living away from home for the first time ever, but I miss the little things from home (like being able to drive to the local coffee shop and chat with a friend if they're having a down day). This is my third year doing the holiday wishlists and I love it.
01. I freaking love getting cards in the mail. I love getting any sort of snail mail, especially now that I'm off at college.
02. Pens, ink, stamps, paints, paper... anything that I can use to journal/collage/scrapbook. Also, if you take out some pages from a magazine I love those, too. I don't expect anyone to pay shipping on a whole magazine, but I love collaging, so anything you can send me would be much appreciated.
03. Postage stamps. I'm up here at college and I love sending mail, but it's getting expensive. Stamps = ♥.
04. Books. I have big plans to have a huge library when I have my own place, so if you've got a book that you enjoyed (or didn't!) and want to pass it along... All books that I read and enjoy go into my own collection; books I don't enjoy get donated to the AAUW for their annual book sale that goes towards a scholarship for young women.
05. A Kurt Halsey calendar.
06. This stuffed hare. I think it's incredibly adorable. I show rabbits through the American Rabbit Breeders Association and love anything rabbit. :D
07. This is totally random, but my grandma is really sick and she's going to be in and out of the hospital for the next few months. :( She loves animals, so anything from stuffed toys to photos of animals would make her day.
08. This Stainless Steel Water Bottle. I've been toting around an old water bottle that my friends swear is killing me slowly and I'm quite fond of this stainless steel bottle.
09. Yarn. I knit scarves and give them away as gifts (and to local shelters for the kids) and any yarn would be much appreciated.
10. A Rabbit Clock in Pink/Green.
I'm editing the entry to include my email for contact. :"> istalksnape @ gmail . com
