holidaywishesHey everybody! My name is Lisa, I'm from Toronto and in second-year university studying radio & tv. And for the first time this year I'm finding there isn't really anything major that I want for Christmas... just really small, simple things. It's kind of nice!
1. I created this website with my boyfriend called HollabackTO. It's a site to stop street harassment and gain awareness about the objectification of women. We're just starting up and I'd really appreciate just more traffic and readers to the site, and if you have your own experience you'd like to submit, that would really make my day. Or even if there's someone who knows HTML and can just help me make the columns larger, I'd be forever in your debt, haha. The link is: http://hollabackTO.blogspot.com
2. Anything robot related. I'm slowly building up a small robot army...
3. Any sort of ornaments for my Christmas tree would be nice.
4. Any random costume jewellery, but especially brooches. Lately I've been really wanting something pretty and shiny to pin onto my sweater duster or coat.
5. Anything related to The Killers or Gordon Ramsay. I have all the Killers CDs and I have Godon's bio, but apart from that I'd love anything to build my collection up.
6. Really old magazines, like anything pre-90s would be cool. I love looking at old articles and ads and seeing how the times have changed.
7. My boyfriend is a big sci-fi nerd and is obsessed with Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and pretty much anything with 'star' in the name... so any sort of memorbillia or knick-knacks related to that would be really great for him.
8. Gift cards that can be used in Canada. Now that I don't really depend on my parents anymore to buy things for me, I am realizing the value of gift cards, haha. I'll happily take anything, from food gift cards to ones for bookstores or department stores, etc. I'm not picky.
9. A mix CD of your favourite music. I'm always looking for new things to listen to.
10. Anything cute and dinosaur-related.
