Well first off I wanna make sure everyone is making the best out of this holiday season! Its important not to focus on things but the feeling this year gives you. Its coldest/warmest time of the year :] A little about me.. I'm 19. Live in Miami,Fl. No snow :( I was involved in this community I think Christmas of 2006. I actually had to look for this community. So heres my wishlist.. I'm putting this I really do want.. but would NEVER expect.. all in the hopes of the holiday season.

1. Britney Spears is coming here to Miami in March! :D I would love to see her but I just cant afford it this year.. But its something I really really want. She's inspired and been someone I've looked up to for her strength..

2. To finally complete my collection of Catherine Anderson books & Nicholas Sparks books. I've been trying for a year now & I just cant find them all or afford them :/ :D

3. Someone else had this in their Christmas list & I think its somethink I really want! I want people to donate their time to nursing homes. To see people that maybe never have visitors this time of year cause they live far away. Donate your companionship! You might find a lifelong friend

4. I love love love earrings. I just have such a hard time choosing which ones I actually like. I'd love to get some pretty dangly/"fancy" earrings. I also love hoop earrings.. I just am so undecided but I'd love anything!

5. I love photography. B&W especially. I'd love for someone to go on a photo shoot especially for me. ESPECIALLY if you live in a snowy "christmas" atomosphere. I never get to see snow & I'd love some personal pictures of how you see christmas... :D I dont know if explained myself well haha

6. I work at Pet Supermarket & I absolutely love animals. If you can please donate your time to a shelter or if you have some spare cash to donate. OR just give your household pet a nice hug & some yummy treats :D

7. I really would love if someone would make me a Christmas Mix CD. I love old fashioned Christmas music but love the new stuff too like Zooey Deschanel 'Baby its Cold Outside' :D so if anyone can make great mix cds. I'd love one! OR if you just want to make one of your favorite music. I love getting new selections and find new people to listen to!

8. Gift Cards maybe from your favorite store. I can find something anywhere that Id just love!

9. I love love love getting mail. So any cards/postcards/little notes are awesome. Be creative ... those are the best!

10. Okay so I'm in LOVE with twilight lol. I just read the first book & saw the moon. If anyone has the other three books maybe another copy? IDK I really love the series.

I live in Chicago, where it is snowing quite a bit right now. I personally can't stand it, but if it brings you some happiness I'll take some pictures while I'm out. Do you want digital files or actual prints?

but while you cant stand it I hate the non-snowing lol wanna trade!? but definetly go do a photoshoot of things you find beautiful around you especially around this time of year..well if you want to? lol

Taken about two weeks ago. We have a playground/park next door, and right behind what my son calls the "spin wownd", there's a little path into a small pocket of woods. We go there at twilight to watch the local deer family munch on fallen crabapples.

Awww its gorgeous! your son sounds and looks super adorable as well! LOL but wow.. what I wouldnt do to be able to see something like that at Twilight (haha I cant say that word without thinking vampire! ) LOL

Thanks :-) After spending the last five years in a major metro area in the MidWest, I'm still giddy at being back in central NY, where I can have a view like this, next door. Oh, how I missed the woods!

And thanks for the compliments on my wee one, too! :-) He's always been good at that adorable thing....a little too good, sometimes. Heehee. The day the previous picture was taken was actually the first time he truly enjoyed playing in the snow, too. He's got a sensory disorder, and in the past he just couldn't handle it, so this was BIG!

Jamie standing on the "spin wownd", dropping snow on himself that he'd picked up. There had been a steady snowfall, but it was a lotlotlot of teeny dusty flakes sheeting down thickly in the air almost like a cold, cristaline mist with wind directionality...not real distinct falling-on-me-ness like fat, twirling flakes would've had. So, he picked some up and dropped it on himself, the way we did with shredded toilet paper "snow" at home.

One of THOSE mommies? Me? .....ok, yeah. Guilty as charged. :-P

Again, can't say as I "donate" my time, but I work at an old folk's home on the weekends and do companion care during the week. And I've never had a job I loved more. My fogeys are freaking awesome. I consider myself to be doing a mitzvah because I actually volunteered to work in the Alzheimer's unit, to which my boss said, "Are you sure?" I regularly tell the schedulers at the companion care company to give me Alzheimer's or dementia-plagued people, because I think they're more fun. And they remember things that often surprise me. :)
