Dec. 3rd, 2008 08:31 pmHi there! I'm a 26 year old woman from the state of Wisconsin and I stumbled upon this interesting community through someone on my friends list. I'm grateful I found it and it's a pleasure to meet you all. I shall begin with my own holiday wishes:
Non materialistically:
1. That I'd finally find some sense of security about my unknown future and some sort of a path. Even though it's early, but I finally found it today after feeling braver than usual. I see this as a gift from God more than anyone else.
2. That I will eventually fall in love with someone and marry someday. I'm not out to marry anyone for lust, money, or power. I just want some companionship and love. Someone to cherish and share life with. A nice guy with a brain is a plus... I love to strike up brainy conversations and debates with the right person. It depends on who I click with.
3. That my family will hold together even after the passing of my grandma one day. There had been problems with the extended family as of lately, especially after a divorce with an aunt and uncle and things were rather turbulent since. Since I lost my mother's side of the family already and her, i still want to hang onto this one. I want to be as close to them as i was once before.
4. Speaking of Grandma, I am praying that she'd get out of rehab as she's on dialysis so she can finally be home where she needs to be. A hospital or a bad environment of a nursing home is not good for her and she herself hates it. despite it all she got to spend Thanksgiving back home and she's getting better in high spirits. I'm thankful for that.
5. That I can overcome social phobia, mild bi polar disorder, and severe anxiety disorder. These problems have been taking its toll on me and it's holding me back severely. I want to be able to take control of my life again after dealing with so much insanity. And there were times, even just yesterday where I was about to snap...
6. That our new president elect Obama would make right choices and heal the mistakes that Bush had made to this country, especially economically and education wise. I also wish for him to bring peace to the nations once and for all and bring the troops home.
I shall be back with a material related post later. happy holidays!

Date: 2008-12-11 09:05 pm (UTC)By the way, don't do bars though. Sure nice for socializing but most relationships from a bar usually end up getting ugly. At least that's what i noticed.
