rabidchyld's wish list
Dec. 4th, 2008 05:31 pmHi everyone! I've been doing this now for a few years and I'm excited to be participating again. I've been really blessed this year with the birth of my first child (YAY! baby's first Christmas!), a new house, and hubby and I both still have our jobs. We live in GA with my mom, my sister, and her 6 year old twins....they didn't have such a good year and lost their house. Here are a few things I am wishing for this Christmas:
1. Sock that are appropriate for work and not white. Black, blue, brown, etc. I seem to lose my colored socks and my coworker keeps calling me Michael Jackson because I always wear white socks.
2. Coupons for Pampers, Huggies, and Enfamil. Babies are expensive little people.
3. Anything from My Amazon Wish List. It goes without saying that if you have one of these items already and don't want it then send it to me.
4. First grade level reading or math workbooks. The twins love doing those.
5. Mix CD's of late 80's-early 90's house/dance/industrial/techno. You know, all those old bands like KMFDM, KLF, Front 242, etc. I had lots of old mix tapes and they got destroyed. boo.
6. Baby hats! My baby boy looks absolutely dashing in a hat, but he's grown so much (he's 4 months old and 17 lbs!) that most of his hats don't fit him anymore.
7. Stickers. It's a little dangerous, but when the twins do well on their homework, schoolwork, or just do good in general they get stickers. It's the highlight of their days and we run out frequently.
8. Mix CD's of Christmas music. Any kind. I pretty much lost all of my Christmas music because my external hard drive pooped out on me and I lost my itunes library. We had everything from the Ramones to the symphony. My especial favorites are uber-cheesy Manheim Steamroller and Trans Siberian Orchestra. I love those.
9. Cool Christmas ornaments. We somehow lost our unique ornaments in the move and all we have are lonely glass balls.
10. Fridge magnets. Another thing we seemed to have misplaced in the move is our magnets. We have beautiful kid art that needs to be displayed on the fridge and no way to attach it!
I'm off to grant wishes. If you can grant any of mine please email me at rabidchyld@yahoo.com, and thank you for looking. Have a wonderful Holiday!
