Slight delay

To those who I said I would send cards/postcards to:

Your cards will get there, but possibly not in time for the holidays. I had hoped to get them out sooner, but I have run into a sudden monetary issue (relatively minor, but as I am a college student, every little bit has an impact) that has prevented me from getting stamps right away. I have the cards ready, they just need to be sent out. I promise I will try to send them out as soon as possible, hopefully in time for the holidays (but even if I get them send out before the holidays, I'm not sure that they will arrive in time). I am truly sorry, and I didn't want you to just think that I was slacking off my end of this whole give-and-receive concept.

I know it's not really a "wish" but I understand this dilemma & i just got my car so I should use it to do RAok errands, right?

That's not necessary, but thank you for the offer. I'll get them, it'll just be a slight delay until I do. At the worst, I should be able to get some when I go home in a week and a half (on the 15th) and mail them out within a couple days of that. So they MIGHT still be able to get there in time for the holidays, but not necessarily.
