Merry Christmas!
Dec. 6th, 2008 12:01 pmHello! *waves* I am 20 years old and live in Missouri, USA. This is the second year that I have participated on this site, and I am excited about fulfilling wishes and getting wishes fulfilled in return. It always reminds me that we have the power to send each other hope and to touch up someone's life, if even just a little bit. ^_^ This year, the Christmas season isn't as jolly for me because my grandmother recently had a stroke, and we are all very worried about her. I hope that in spreading some cheer, I can make a difference.
My List:
1. Please pray for my grandmother. She lives in Poland, and I am not able to visit her much. This past week, she had a stroke, and she is very sick. I hope that some positive karma will give her the strength she needs to take charge and work towards getting healthy.
2. Anything Twilight related...One of the books would be amazing, but if not, stickers or pictures or whatever. I am a HUGE fan of the books. I think that they are extremely well-written, and they really have the power to take me to Forks and dissolve my troubles temporarily.
3. Foreign coins. I have a collection that my dad started for me when I was small, and unfortunately I haven't been able to add much from my own travels, seeing as how a lot of Europe now has the Europe. Russian coins are of particular interest to me, but anything that is not related to the Euro/dollar system would be amazing.
4. A vintage, Southern quilt. This might be a stretch, but I don't have the skill to make one myself, and I have always dreamed of someday owning a vintage quilt. There is something so romantic about them! My favorite colors are green and yellow, but any colors or patterns would be great.
5. Your favorite British TV show on DVD (preferably the first season)... A burned copy would work wonderfully. I adore British TV shows, and I just can't get enough of them! Also, I have never seen Dr. Who, though I know it has a HUGE following, and I wouldn't mind being introduced to it. ^_^
Thanks so much for your kindness and generosity! I hope that everyone has a very safe and Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year. I'm off to peruse other lists and grant wishes if I can.
