My name is Lisa, I live in Wisconsin, and this is my second year participating in the comm. I've already mailed out some items and have more set to go out next week, as soon as I can get to the post office.
Here's my list:
1. Christmas cards. Or Hanukkah, or general holiday cards, or a postcard, or whatever you want to send. I'd just like to get some good mail instead of junk and bills.
2. Fanfic recommendations for these fandoms: Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, ER, Gossip Girl, House, Prison Break, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Smallville, Twilight, Ugly Betty. I have not done much reading yet in any of these fandoms. Know of any good stories? I'll read pretty much anything except incest or RPF (real-person fic), but I really want it to be reasonably in character and have decent grammar/punctuation/spelling.
3. Book recommendations. I'm always looking for something to read. No horror or anything with graphic violence. Other than that, again, I'll read almost anything, fiction or non-fiction: mystery, supernatural, sports, animal, etc.
4. Anything from my Amazon.com wish list, and of course used items are more than welcome.
5. An old VCR in working condition, doesn't have to be great. Not a DVD/VCR combo, just a standalone VCR. Local stores don't carry them anymore and they're tough to find online except at auction sites. Maybe someone has an old one lying around that they never use? I would use it.
6. For more people to write Classic Doctor Who fic!
7. A mix CD. Just whatever music you like.
8. Used computer games compatible with Windows 2000 so my old computer can have a purpose.
9. Anything relating to Ireland. My grandmother is Irish and is always happy to get Irish coins, newspapers, whatever.
10. Anything relating to horse racing, my favorite sport. Something as simple as a newspaper clipping would be welcome.
