My Wish List

(Note: also posted word for word on Holiday Wishlist '08" cause I'm too lazy to come up with a second list! You'll forgive me, right?)

Howdy, fellow wish listers! When I discovered this livejournal, I just knew that I had to come on over and add my own two cents or wish list as the case may be. I love the concept of this community both because it's a lovely idea to spread the holiday love but also because now I know I'm not the only person doing it! What am I talking about, you may wonder? Well, in late July, I stared My Fickle Birthday Blog as a way to get Birthday presents for my 30th. Mostly because hubby and I had no money at the time to do anything for my big day but also because I wanted to see if I could get strangers to send me gifts. It did, sort of. I got two gifts from strangers. Not the result I was looking for so I extended the project and am now hoping for Christmas gifts. I've got all kinds of wishlists posted over there already but I'll give you ten random things I'd love 'cause I know you're curious!

My Wish List

1. Orlando Bloom with a bow tied around A video camera - Okay, that's a long shot but I thought I'd put it out there. Preferably one with good video quality and that can be connected to a Mac computer


2. A fan fiction story written just for me - Slash, of course. Bonus points if written in a rare fandom (ER & Scrubs are the two I'm always looking for). I love mushy, fluffy, true love stuff. Love stories written in all letters or emails and ones with mind reading or secret admirers.


3. Anything handmade - I'm a crafter and beader myself but I love seeing other people's work. I'd love something made with your own hands even if it's just some Popsicle sticks glued together and covered in glitter.


4. Queer as Folk on DVD - American or British version, doesn't matter. It's all full of awesome.


5. Anything Ladybug - I collect them (it's my hubby's nickname for me) and it's been a while since I've had one to add to the collection.


6. My own personal Starbucks Barista - Okay, okay, I'll settle for a gift card.


7. A Neo Cube - an awesome little magnetic puzzle toy thingy.


8. Craft supplies - beads, paper, glitter, whatever. Doesn't have to be new, either. Leftovers and hand me downs are fine. You can never have too many craft supplies.


9. Ear Cuffs - I'm fascinated by these things. Especially the ones that have an earring post attached for pierced ears. I have two holes in each ear just in case you wanted to know.


10. A Gym Membership - I need to lose some weight. I need some motivation, too, but that's another story.
