[identity profile] hide-r.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] holidaywishes
I've been watching this community for years but this is my first time posting. My family has hit hard financial times this year so we're not really doing Christmas but I always love spreading happiness through snail mail throughout the year so I figured this would be a good time to finally participate.

01. Extra userpic time. My icons were suppose to run out this month but a super-sweet friend bought me another month. So if you can spare a month or two, I'd really appreciate it.

02. Books. If you have some old/inexpensive/paperback books lying around that you're not going to be rereading anytime, I'd love for you to send them my way, but otherwise I'll be thrilled with just good recommendations.

03. A video editing program that will work on a Mac. Can someone pull a Mac equivalent of Windows Movie Maker out of their ass please? K, THNX. I'd really like to be able to make episode clips for my site again. I don't care if the program is a pain in the ass, just so long as it works.

04. Snail mail brightens up my day like no other, especially when the post card is pretty or there's random stuff shoved in the envelope.

05. New music. I lost a lot of my stuff a while back and wasn't able to recover it so I'm still finding that albums I used to love are missing from my collection. So any music is good.

06. Anything with a superhero on it. (My favorites are Batman, Spider-Man, and Wonder Woman) Seriously. Thanks to the Target dollar aisle a while back, I have pens, notebooks, folders, post-its... there's even a little Batman whiteboard on my fridge, and I can't get enough. Every time I finish a pack of the post-its or another pen runs out of ink, I get a little sad on the inside. Even if it's made for kids and you think it's kind of lame, I'll probably love it exponentially.

07. The December issue of Austin magazine, (here) which has the cast of Friday Night Lights on the cover. I'm coveting it so much right now that it's ridiculous lol.

08. Anything off my Amazon wishlist. All completely random nine items can be found here. I'm complete fine with used items, I actually prefer them because then I feel less guilty lol. (On a side note: That thing is so freakin' handy! I love that you can add stuff from other sites.)

If you'd like my address, feel free to just ask. My email is hider@hellisbreaking.com :)

i always love to recommend people to read anything by Garth Nix. he's a fantasy/scifi author but don't let that stop you if you don't care for the genre. :]

also, if you give me your email i'll happily send you some music!
