A bit late to the party this year....
Dec. 9th, 2008 11:16 pmHello everyone :). I'm Rebecca, 29, and I participated last year and made a ton of new friends, as well as got the chance to help out a lot of people, so I thought I'd give it a go this year again. This year I'm in a unique situation, as I currently have a UK address, but am heading back to the states in February (hopefully briefly!), so when asking for an address I can supply either (though some items I'd prefer to have sent to the UK so I don't have to ship them back over!). I've been visiting my boyfriend here, and hoping to make the final move across the pond soon-ish.
1. knitted socks. The UK is bloody freezing! I need some nice wool socks to keep my toes warm. I knit, but I haven't mastered socks yet!
2. a tri-band mobile phone to put my UK SIM (on the Orange network if that matters) into when I go back to the US so I can still use my UK mobile. UK or US plug, it doesn't much matter as we've got tons of adapters laying around.
3. Assistance with my move - I need to ship over a bunch of stuff, plus a cat. That's not going to be cheap. (Cat is going to cost at least $1000 because he needs to be microchipped first). If anyone knows of cheap ways to ship stuff over, I'd love to hear it, too.
4. Items (new or used...used is awesome) from my Amazon Wish List
5. Proofreading/Editing work I can do from "home", wherever "home" happens to be at the time.
6. A spot on Ships and Dip V!
7. iTunes gift cards for US or UK iTunes so I can fill my iPod with new music and video.
8. Holiday Cards sent to me in the UK. I've been feeling lonely not getting mail here.
9. Craft supplies (sent to my UK address) - I've been having a hard time finding things I need/want for crafting here. I bead, sew, knit, and scrapbook, so I'll take anything you're trying to get rid of!
10.Online friends who share my interests who are looking for new friends to talk to :) Especially if you're in the Lincoln UK area, as that's where I live/where I'll be living!
physical address can be supplied via email or LJ comment. E-mail me at annaonthemoon79atgmaildotcom. I have the LJ messages turned off because I don't like them, so please send me an email for my address!
