holidaywishesHello! This looks like fun, so I'm going to try it this year. :3
I should start with a little about me huh? I'm 23 and a very boring artsy nerd who does landscaping and interior decorating for a job. \o/ Life's been a little rough for a while, but it's getting much better, so I plan to go to college soon. Then I'll be a very boring artsy person who does something else for a job. I'm very excited about it. :P As for my wishes.. let's see...
1. Donate anything you can to a local animal shelter, be it money, supplies, or your time. There are so many out there that need all the help they can get, and it's really very rewarding to know you helped in some way. I promise. :P
2. A dolfie. I've wanted one for years now. They're just so pretty, and I've been fascinated with dolls since I was little. *-*
3. I've always wanted to travel, but I've been flirting with agoraphobia for a very long time, and that makes it pretty much impossible for me right now. So really, I'd love anything from someplace I've never been (which is every place outside of new england, usa. haha); a type of candy or snack, or a small trinket, or a post card or even a local legend or story or recipe. adghahfdgd seriously, anything! ♥
4. I've had to sell off all of my renaissance faire and steampunk convention stuff when times were hard for my mom a couple years back. I'd really love to start dressing up for these things again, so if you have something you don't use any more, I'd really appreciate it. I'm good with a sewing machine so even if it's something damaged that I could fix, that'd be so, so awesome.
5. There's a big litter problem where I live, and it makes me sad to see trash all over the place. If you could donate some of your time to cleaning up the local parks or even just pick litter up and throw it away when you see it... I'd really like that.
6. I love fantasy art! I spent silly amounts of time in bookstores looking at art books and calenders, and on google. Everything from Victoria Frances to Boris Vallejo to Sue Dawe, and I'm always looking for something new to gawk at. Recommendations would be lovely. :D
7. Doujinshi! *-* I'll sell my soul for doujinshi related to the later Fire Emblem games (8 through 10) or Ragnarok Online or Suikoden.
8. Graphics tutorials. \o/ I use The Gimp, and most of the tutorials I find are for Photoshop, so it makes me sad. :(
9. Make sure your family and friends don't spend the holidays alone. If they have no one else to spend it with, invite them over or visit them or even just devote some time to call them if you're far away. If there's only one thing on this list you're willing to grant, please grant this one.
10. Holiday cards~ I love snail mail, but all I get is bills these days. xD
