This Holiday...
Dec. 11th, 2008 01:16 amMy name is Jayde, I'm 22 and from just outside Providence, RI. My family is too broke to do Christmas this year, with my mother barely able to pay the bills and the rest of my family not handling the recession so well, either, so internet wishes are my wishes this year. :)
Here's my list, this holiday, from smallest to biggest:
1) Hanson things. I love Hanson and I'm kind of a packrat when it comes to the old and the new and the in-between.
2) Postcards or t-shirts or trinkets from places all over the world.
3) A pair of size 9.5US womens all black not-canvas shoes. I need them for work, and I can't find any that are under $80. I know they exist, but I am not good at investigating!
4) An MP3 player. My iPod broke on my birthday and Apple wouldn't repair it ($179?! I could buy a new one!), so now I have no way to listen to music at all on the way to and from work. The bus ride's an hour and it gets pretty boring.
5) A giant map of the United States. No, seriously. It's got to be huge, though. Preferably with all the Interstates on it.
6) An external CD or DVD burner that's compatible with a Mac. My internal is broken and getting it fixed is kind of out of the question.
7) An external hard drive that's compatible with a Mac. I'd like at least 100GBs. :)
8) Some way to get from Providence, RI to Miami, FL for January 17th, and home on the 23rd.
9) Money.
10) Music. It makes the world go round.

I am looking forward to granting as many wishes as I can. <3

Date: 2008-12-11 06:56 pm (UTC)The MP3 player part caught my attention. I have an iPod mini (yeah, those minis that iPod doesn't make anymore.) It's silver and is in a protective black case. It's practically new (I had a mini, and it broke, I sent it in, and they sent me a new one no charge). The only thing I don't have is the hook-up that hooks the iPod to your computer.. so if you have that, then i can send this one to you. It's 6GB.
I know that it isn't much, but it might hold you until you can get a larger one. Let me know! You can e-mail me at:
