well this took me long enough! i'm trying to mentally shove myself into the christmas spirit (i've been very...um..unfestive this year so far and i'd like to change that!) and i've always loved seeing this christmas wishlist thing 'round the friendslist. i love the idea of this community and i love seeing so many people taking time to make other LJ-ers - sometimes total strangers - days a bit brighter. it's pretty awesome.

anyway, on to the goodies!

1. credits at either paperbackswap or swapadvd. (this is easier than it sounds, as all you have to do is list me as a referral when you sign up.) i have become SO OBSESSED with these sites over the past few months - they will change your life i swear. they're so easy and a great way to try new books/movies and get rid of things that are cluttering up your house, too. i can't even express how awesome both of those places are or how much i adore them. (and they've both totally helped me with my whole new "buy less media" regime!)
2. get involved for equality. attend your local light up the night rally next weekend. Donate to join the impact or the human rights campaign. stand up. be heard.
3. earmuffs. i feel very retro. but i'm tired of hats messing up my hair.
4. wii points for the wii virtual mall/console thing. i had no idea that i apparently loved every game ever released for the super nintendo but there you have it.
5. new icons! i magically got some more icon space somehow (how? it just appeared!) and need to fill it. my biggest loves at the moment are supernatural, gossip girl (chuck and blair foreeeevvverrrr), the wire, true blood, pushing daises (SNIFF), and friday night lights (i am finally watching the back half of season 2. love!!). and of course, my eternal love for doctor who and west wing.
6. inauguration tickets. i know, they are rarer than gold around in this town, it's insane! but hope springs eternal. it'd be nice to be closer than the jumbotron two miles down the mall.
7. a care package type thing. basically i love getting mail that isn't bills.
8. good fanfic. i'm way beyond out of the loop on anything cool that has happened in fandom. is there such a thing as good twilight fic? or gossip girl fic? or long plotty spn fic i haven't read yet.
9. books!! i have a big wishlist at paperbackswap but really, i will kind of read anything ;)
10. cat toys for minerva (obviously, that's my cat). everything in the pet store is always noise based and minerva doesn't care, because she's deaf. so, if anyone knows about alternative cat toys, let me know. ;)

Awww, thank you - the three Swap sister sites have liked changed my life lately. I am so addicted (and I'm girlfromsouth@gmail.com there too).

Marriage equality is so important,obviously, not only for what it is in and of itself but for what it stands for for our generation i think. let's say that we stood up as one and said, no to hatred and prejudice. and i truly believe that that is coming. one day.

my cat is oddly fond of...like boxes from amazon or the gap. She refuses to sleep in the expensive kitty bed I bought her but somehow empty boxes...

I will totally check out waterofthemoon! I'm always up for more SPN goodness!

10- I can send you some toys, are cat nip toys okay or laser toys? they don't require noise, so I can probably get that, I have a kitty too, and she loves toys, oh she loves hair ties too, I didn't know how much my cat would love hair ties, until I dropped one on the floor and she loved playing with it

5- I can make you Chuck/Blair and SN icons (do you have particular couple you like for SN) and possibly FNL and Pushing Daises too (totally sucks they cancelled it)

I just signed up at swapadvd and spent way too much time there! ugh! I have too many dvds and of course all the dvds I'm looking for are not available up there right now. figures. lol
