Better Late Than Never

Hello! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m Brittney, also known as Lhunie. I’m originally from Louisiana. I just moved to Minnesota with my fiancé Mike a few months ago, and now we’re having our first winter, and brrrr is it cold compared to what I grew up with back home, or even what I have experienced living in New York / New Jersey when I relocated to the northeast after Hurricane Katrina.

Things have been rough the past few years, but that’s never crushed my spirit. I always love trying to give what I can during the holidays, even if it is just to be able to send a card or a little doodle and a hello. I love sending packages of surprises when I am able to. People have helped me a lot over the years, and that means a lot to me. I have helped others when I have been able to, and not just during the holidays. I randomly send things throughout the year, and have sent Christmas gifts in July. If it can make someone unexpectedly smile or jump for joy, I’m there. Send a card or surprise package my way, and I'll gladly send one in return!

I know posting this now is a little late, but better late than never. I’ve been cruising around looking for wishes to fill. It’s fun to be able to surprise people. I think from personal experience, having giftings arrive after the holidays when none are expected is definitely an uplifting thing, especially when things are so rough for everyone these days.

Sorry for rambling. At any rate, here’s my list!

8. I wish I could make ends meet. I wish I had a little extra money to help cover doctor/dentist/vet bills and pay off expenses that have piled up after living through Hurricane Katrina and several cross country moves.

9. A new job that I can enjoy and be happy with. Praying that my fiance and I can both find new jobs so things will be okay again. I really wish I could find a legit work-from-home sort of thing with computer work, maybe even writing or proof-reading or my dream job, working with animals or doing art professionally.

10. A fresh start for the new year. I hope and pray everything will be better for everyone with the coming of the new year. Smile often. Spend time with your loved ones and cherish them always. Have a bright and merry Christmas/Yule/whatever you celebrate and a safe and happy new year!
