This is my third year participating, I've fulfilled a few wishes, due, mostly to being in mourning. My Mother in Law passed away on 11/28, and so it has been a tough season for me this year. With that being said, I have hope that the rest of the season ahead will be a better time.

I am Luna, a massage therapist from Tampa, Florida. Recently married, no children of my own, save 2 furbabies, named Kit'en & itty bitty (who is neither itty nor bitty) but an Aunt to three of the best little girls ever. This is my wish list for 2008. If you find it in your heart to fulfill even one, it will brighten my season. Thank you, in advance.

1. Encouragement : In the last year I've lost 30 lbs, I'd like to keep that up, Kind words, praise, even advice will be helpful.

2. Recipes I need to start cooking at home. I do an awful lot of eating out, and it's neither good for the husband's waist line nor the budget, so pass along some of your favorite family recipe's and the stories behind them.

3. Make up I'm a fiend for MAC or Urban Decay - Do you have a color that didn't work for you? Care to pass it along? Pigments are so much fun to play with.

4. BPAL I collect imps. It really doesn't matter the scent, I love them all. heck, Want to trade?

5. Icons Massage Therapy or Healing related ones would be much appreciated.

6. Surprise me I've been intregued by the yarn ball idea, but I don't knit (Yet..) and I grew up on grab bags. So as much as my husband hates them, I LOVE getting things in the mail. I can think of nothing more fun than a box filled with neat things from someone I don't know. And I'm likely to return the favour, You have NOT seen my gift closet!

7. Gifts for my nieces Ages 7, 4 & 1 Their Father was laid off just a few days before Thanksgiving, so their Christmas is thin. We're padding it some, but really what can I do. I want them to know how much they're loved, and make it a memorable year, so any help here would be appreciated (sizes if you need them are 10/12, 5T and 12 mos)

8. Pretty Hair things I'm vain about my hair. I love barettes, headbands, and ponytailers.

9. Ideas for my Gadget Geek Husband. I wanted to get him the Kindle, but it's sold out. I want a bluRay Player, but I don't know which one to get. Do you have any idea's? If so, leave me some in comments and I'll take it as a valid suggestion. For the record, he's a Computer engineer, and writes code in his head all the day long. He works currently with deaf video relay and they're amazed with him< (As I knew they would be) and he never really buys anything for himself, and I am COMPLETELY stumped! What can I say, I'm a healer.. not a techie.

10. Friend Me/Write me One can never have enough friends. Who knows. Maybe there's something about me that you like? If so, add me, talk with me, Send me a note.

Above all, may this season be merry and bright for you and yours..
Luna

#2: Pepper & Basil Quiche

1 cup chopped basil
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup diced red, green, and yellow bell peppers
5 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Set oven to 375.
Mix all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Pour into a 10x10 baking dish.
Cook for 25-30 minutes or until the quiche is cooked through to the middle (the top will turn a golden brown).
Serves 4.

This was the first veggie-focused recipe I made when I became a vegetarian in July of 2007; it's become a favorite of mine, my son, and our close friends. It can be adapted to add other things like corn, green beans, carrots, or doubling the amount of tomatoes or trying different kinds of peppers.

Well I must say great job on the weight drop!

I am vegetarian/vegan so my recommendation for receipes comes from www.vegweb.com You can adapt recipes to include meat certainly. I eat a lot of vegetable soup in the winter. I just throw it in the crock pot or on the stove and let it go along with vegetable stock and seasonings.

Kindle always seems to be popular. Good luck with that one. I think I'll always dig a hardcover book but maybe one day I'll get with it.
