holidaywishesin the past few days i've gotten a card & some stickers & some fortune cookie fortune's at it's really helped exam week go a lot more smoothly! thanks everyone ;) i updated my list to reflect the contributions :-D you guys are so awesome!
wishes i owe people were supposed to go out this past weekend but i got sick >:-O so...maybe thursday or friday! i hope i hope!
and i've been posting it in comments & such
but i wanted to post it for everyone to see...
if you have a lot of wishes that will be hard on shipping, check out www.freecycle.org or www.craigslist.com for people in your area who want to give away furniture & washers & dryers & microwaves & such. :) happy hunting!

Date: 2004-12-08 08:44 pm (UTC)I have given away lots of stuff! Last week I did my first want, my microwave blew its fuse. I got a replacement the same day! (works great!)
I got my mother on the list, and she offered a bunch of office equipment, then asked for some stuff for my lil' brother who is going to college in January. He got a 2 year old mini fridge and a microwave from a hotel that is being renovated. Awesome fridge!
It also seems to be great for people with kids (or whom work with kids) for hand-me-downs.
