[identity profile] sapphsmum.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] holidaywishes
I have been overwhelmed by the response to my daughter's post about my needing help. I have preferred giving to receiving all my life, it gave me a great deal of pleasure to make other happy rarely did I ask for or accept help from anyone even if I was in need. But recently it was pointed out to me that I needed to allow others the same joy that I experienced, by allowing others to help me. So here is my wish list.

1. Crystals (any shape) for hanging in my bedroom window. (My Mom had some in the window when she was going thru chemo treatments which I now have in my kitchen window. I'd love to have more so I can put some in my bedroom window so while I'm in bed in pain, so I can to enjoy the rainbows , that remind me of my Mom's courage when she battled cancer.)
2. Movie tickets to Kerasotes theatre.
3. Wal Mart or Media Play gift certificates for DVD's. (I'm in bed or on the sofa in pain a great deal of the time so this is my one luxury since I am homebound most the time.)
4. Anything off my Amazon wish list. *These items can be used, but I will decline pirated copies as I won't do anything illegal.*
5. Holiday cards. (Mailing address can be found here.)
6. HP Laptop (email for specifics) (So I can create designs for embroidery machines that I can sell to help my family with the medical bills. I am a seamstress but am limited by my health problems so I thought I could help my family by making these designs to sell, which can be done in bed if I can get a laptop with enough memory and hard drive space.)
7. My dream Christmas gift would be to go to NY with my husband and daughter to see The Phantom of The Opera and take a carriage ride. (I'd like to make some memories with my daughter and husband besides those of doctors visits, hospitals, surgeries etc. Life is so short I'd like to do a few fun things while I still can.)

Not looking for this to be fulfilled but this would be my ultimate dream which was what I was told to post in addition to my easier to fill dreams.

Just wondering, Do you do anything with the Simplicity SmartBox for your embroidery designs?

I'm sorry to have to ask but what kind of cancer are you fighting? I'd love to do anything I can help on that as my family has a long history of cancer as well. And God bless you for your strength.

I will definitely add you and yours to my prayers. I am so sorry to hear that you have been stricken with such a devistating illness. I will be sending you a few crystals to keep your spirits up and at least one card. If you need anything else, let me know and I'll do what I can. God Bless you in your healing.
