'tis the season!
Dec. 3rd, 2009 03:23 pmHello, everyone!
My name is Cris.
I live in Croatia, Europe. I'm 28, geek and a fangirl. :)
This is my third year doing holiday wishes. I had a great time participating in the past years, so I'm happy to join the fun again this year.
My wishes:
1) Happy and peaceful holidays for all of you guys.
I hope you'll get a chance to eat lots of cookies, have some eggnog, cosy up and watch favourite Christmas movies, spend time with your family and friends, laugh, enjoy yourselves and have a great time.
2) Christmas cards.
If you're sending them, I'd love one. They make me smile, and my computer desk and wall look festive decorated with cards. :)
If you need my address (it's the same as last year) send me an e-mail to duskwillow [at] livejournal.com or comment here.
3) Pictures!
I love how everything is shiny and decorated for the holidays. So if you snapped any pictures of your Christmas tree, or Christmas lights, or you were in town and it looked really pretty and you took some pictures. Post them! :) I love those posts, they're always shiny and jolly. *<):o}
4) Fan Fic.
I'm reading Kirk/Bones (reboot), Arthur/Merlin, Clark/Lois and Clark/Lex at the moment.
Crazy holiday adventures or something with a happy ending is always appreciated during holidays.
5) Photoshop tutorials.
I'm kinda set to try out and learn new things in Photoshop in 2010, so I'm looking for good (and not too difficult) tutorials. Something like this for example.
If you know any, please link me.
6) Pinto walking pictures.
Come on, you two, walk! Together.
This
7) Make someone's wish come true.
Surf around, check other Wish Lists. Or if you noticed someone mention something they'd like that you could do, surprise them for the holidays. Or it doesn't even have to be now, keep an eye during the year and just do it. It's neat to surprise people.
8) Fingerless gloves, but a bit longer ones. Like the ones Mitchell has on Being Human (1, 2).
You'd think that would be easy to find to buy, but I've been hunting for something similar for a year and a half now and still no luck.
9) Anything from my Amazon wishlist.
Merlin calendar would make my year 24/7/356 times more awesome (and pretty).
10) And a wish to TV & movie gods:
- Season 10 of Smallville, and let it be as good as season 9 has been so far. And Erica/Lois in all 22 episodes.
- For third season of Merlin (it was confirmed yesterday! yatta! \o/) to be as awesome as season 1 was. Because season 2 was, sadly, a bit of a mess.
- More incredible awesomeness like "The Real Merlin & Arthur".
- Announce date/year of Star Trek XII movie, pleeease!

Date: 2009-12-06 07:25 pm (UTC)Thank you for a virtual gift! :D I've never gotten any, so it was a nice surprise.
Surprisingly enough, I've had your wishlist added to my memories already ;P And I think I may be able to help you with a few of your wishes - a postcard, for sure, and I think I can find some longer fingerless gloves for you as well (Mitchell? mm, you have a great taste, dear lady :D)... Any specifics as for their colour? #7... Well, i just finished sending it my first bunch of packages, have a few more to complete/send. I'll do my best for #1 :D And we'll see about #3 ;)

Woot! I love coincidences like this! :D
And yay, you're too awesome. ♥
Let me know if you'll need my address.
I'm not a big fan of pink and brown, but everything else goes. I'm not picky at all. :)
Heh. He really is sinfully charismatic and good looking, isn't he?

Hm... And striped ones, for example black and red or black and white? I've seen those somewhere... Will try to look for some more monochromatic ones ;)

Not to mention, he's not your average (for a vampire ;)) Mr. Emo/Dark-and Edgy - not very vampiric - and that's especially endearing... at least for me. The fact, that Aidan Turner is hot as hell helps as well, of course ;P (I'm shallow. And proud of it! :D) But, hell, I ♥ the whole cast.

If given a choice I'd say black&red, but black&white also sounds great. :D
Agreed with everything!
The whole show reminds me in tone of Buffy, because they're also using their conditions as metaphors. And that just makes the characters that much more interesting. I also love all three of them. Though it took me until episode 2 to get used to Aidan, because I was missing Guy like crazy (loved his portray as Mitchell in the pilot). But it was impossible not to be win over by Aidan, he's fantastic.
