Happy Holidays! :)
Dec. 3rd, 2009 10:39 pmHello everyone. Happy holidays! I'm KC and I live in the United States. I've done this at my journal before but never here. I don't think I realized it was here until this year. I'm 29, I work at a library and am currently attempting to finish my four-year degree.
001. Bookmarks, new or old. I don't care.
002. I would love if someone would send me a hand-me-down cookbook that you no longer use/want that has some good recipes. OR You could even just type up a couple of your favorite recipes and send them along. I'd love to try them! Bonus points for anything healthy (yet tasty) and anything I can make in a slow cooker. (Nothing spicy.)
003. A fanmix for any of my favorite characters/pairings. (A not-quite-definitive list of pairings can be found here.)
004. Fanfic for any of my favorite pairings.
005. Something you made! Whether it be foodie or crafty. Cookies, a scarf, any craft, a pretty photo you've taken, yummy treats or healthy ones, whatever!
006. Anything from my amazon wishlist. (Used items welcomed/encouraged!)
007. Small gift certificates are always nice. Any place would be great, livejournal, Amazon, or the classic Visa.
008. Again with the hand-me-downs. Anything you have at home that you don't want anymore that you think I'd like. An old board game, a cool trinket, something nifty looking.
009. A surprise!
010. Fulfill someone else's wish, donate to a charity, or volunteer over the holidays.
Comment, e-mail, or private message me for my address if you need it! :)

Date: 2009-12-04 06:29 pm (UTC)I'd love to make you a 6/33 fanmix or write a short fanfic. Right now I'm working on some stuff for the FNL Secret Santa, but if you don't mind waiting a while I'll totally think of something.

Date: 2009-12-05 05:04 pm (UTC)I guess I'm not really a fan of anything way too fluffy or anything PWP/non-con/etc. I dig angst with a mixture of hopefulness the best. But anything would be great!

Date: 2009-12-06 12:40 am (UTC)All you need is boneless, skinless chicken
2 jars of your fave salsa (any spice and type)
Start out with putting enough salsa in the slow cooker to fill the bottom. Once the bottom is covered add the chicken that you want.
Then cover the chicken with the rest of the salsa. No need to add water, the salsa will thin as it cooks.
Turn on high at first and wait until it starts to boil. Once it boils turn to low and cook for about 7 hours. You only need to stir a couple times- to make sure the chicken isn't sticking.
To test the chicken just pull out a piece and break open the thickest part, it should not be pink.
If as it cooks if you need more salsa to cover the chicken just add as needed.
When done pull the chicken out. The salsa you cooked in can be used as a dipping sauce for the chicken.
