Hello! My name is Maureen. I'm a 23-year-old Psychology major at the University of Missouri. I live with one roommate and three cats and work at my university's library. When I'm not working, I like to read, write, watch anime, and play video games. I'm very excited about this community. ^_^ Here's my list:


1: Anything Japanese. I love Japan! Anything from Japan or that has to do with Japanese culture would be great. I like candy, keychains, maneki nekos, figurines, dishes, chopsticks -- pretty much anything.
2: Jewelry. I really want some cute barrettes to wear in my hair, but I also love rings and necklaces. Mood rings and cameo necklaces in particular.
3: Cat toys. One of my cats is a kitten and the big cats are not always in the mood to play with her, so I would really love some cool cat toys to keep her entertained. She is quite the bundle of energy.
4: Harry Potter merchandise. Ties and scarves, specifically, but I am in love with all things HP. I have an adorable Snape figurine that lives on top of my television. I also love a good chocolate frog. ^_^
5: Wall art. My walls are sad and empty and there's nothing I love more than pretty pictures, frames, and clocks to hang on them. Or anything that hangs, really. I just want my walls to look cute.
6: Plushies. Any character from video game or anime would be fantastic. I especially love the Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Fruits Basket, and Fushigi Yuugi, to name a few. I'm familiar with most anime, though, so if it's popular enough to warrant a plushie, I will probably know it/love it.
7: Anime. Whatever your favorite is! I watch a lot of anime but don't own much so I would love to watch your recommendations.
8: Gravitation Vol. 12. I have volumes 1-11 but am sadly lacking in the last book of this manga. It's one of my favorite anime/manga series everrr so I would love to have the final volume.
9: Gay fiction. Something you've written yourself, links to recs online, ebooks, or actual novels. I love them all, as long as there are gay men involved.
10: Surprise me!

9) Would fandom slash recs count? There are few fics that are really good (took a look at your profile and you're not in those fandoms), but they're good enough to stand on their own, you don't need to know anything about the show they're from to enjoy them.
