Hi! My name is Yvonne, I’m a university student, 27 years old and live in the south of Germany. I’m majoring in American Studies, I also study English Literature and American History. This is my first year participating, I think it’s a really wonderful idea. I have already granted some wishes and I plan to do more. I have quite some wish lists bookmarked.:) Here’s mine...

01. A good year 2010
with no losses or other catastrophes. The last three years have been very difficult. I wish I’ll pass my final oral exams at the uni with good grades (any advice for literature students?).

02. Things from Australia
I really don’t have anything specific in mind... It could be a postcard, some souvenir/tourist-y thing, something you think is "typically Australian", anything really. My mother’s 50th birthday is in March, she adores Australia and since she won’t be able to actually visit it, I’d love to be able to bring Australia to her, so to speak. Oh, we’re both looking for a “Spider and Rose” DVD and a postcard from Parkes, NSW.

03. The “Good” DVD
I’m a huge fan of Jason Isaacs and the film wasn’t released here...

04. Fan stuff
Jason Isaacs things make me happy, but also the tiniest bits relating to Queen, David Bowie, “Queer as Folk”, the original Star Wars trilogy and Tilda Swinton. Uhm... I’d love a “Bones” poster.:)

05. Additions
to my moose/elk collection.

06. Postcards
I’d love more postcards from different countries/cities for my wall.

07. Snow
for Christmas. It keeps raining. Snow before the year ends would be so great.
