Thank you to the loads of people I've gotten holiday cards from so far, including [livejournal.com profile] youarethemusic, [livejournal.com profile] twistedwhispers, [livejournal.com profile] kaakao, [livejournal.com profile] darktawnee, and [livejournal.com profile] shaegirl!!!

Also HUGE, HUGE, HUGE thanks to [livejournal.com profile] amykck for sending me "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West". I cried when I opened it!

I was going to do something, and I just was wondering if anyone else had the same sort of idea.

I lined the back of my bedroom door with wallpaper, and every Christmas card I get, I tape to the door. Once the holidays are over, I'm going to take a couple pictures and post them! It'll be like Where's Waldo. . .if you sent me a card, you can try to spot your card in the picture!

Anyone else doing something like that?

Happy Holidays!!

Yes, me! I made a "circle" of dark red ribbon around my room's door (vertically) and will use paper clips to attach postcards to it. So far there's only 1 postcard, but I'm patient. :)

I collect postcards, so I just can't damage them in any way, be it pins or tape.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'm doing with the cards I receive. Maybe I'll end up with putting them into a nice box and displaying in the hall. :D

send me your address and I'll send you a postcard - kazeldya8@cs.com. make sure to say something about who you are, why you're sending me your address, etc., otherwise i'll have to search for this post to figure out what the heck i have your address for.

The wrapping paper on the door is a fantastic idea. I might have to do that!
I think I'm going to open the cards and such from people I don't know on Yule and then save the ones from my close LJ friends for Christmas - right now I've got all the envelopes sitting in a pretty silver basket near my tree, and then for after Christmas I bought a special holiday box to store them all in. ^_^

Well, your presents are wrapped inside that poinsetta box, so if you wanted to open that, you'd still have suprises on Christmas. ;)
*wonders how all the Christmas bows faired during travel*
