[identity profile] leopardwolf.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] holidaywishes
I've been watching the community for some time now, and nabbing up the names of those who I can provide wishes for. I like being able to give things to others when I can, and I plan to try and mail everything out tomorrow. I know I'm cutting it close posting this so close to the holiday, but here's to hoping. The way I see it, even if little trinkets rain in after the holiday itself, it's still a blessing. It's the thought that counts.

1. A new high end camera and extra lenses to go with them, specifically the Canon Digital Rebel or Sony Cybershot (both in the $1,000 range). Photography is something I do for a living, and sadly my current camera is on its last leg.

2. Money. The best thing that can be given, as I can do pratically anything I need to with it. Be it to buy more craft supplies, pay doctor's or vet bills, or help make a difference for animals and other people in any way I can. If anything, I can always put it away for a rainy day. My Paypal is leopardwolf@charter.net

3. New hard drives. NO Maxtor. Western Digital is good. 40gig and higher capacity. Really needing more specifically a removable/external drive.

4. Paid account time for LJ and maybe DevArt. Been interested in trying for a prints account too.

5. Trinkets. Bones, furs (faces, tails, pelts, etc), feathers, hides, horns/antlers, claws, teeth, spools of leather/suede/sinew, sparklies, shinies, gemstones, crystals, etc. Anything natural to hoard or to make crafts out of.

6. The Mountain t-shirts (new), or other well made wildlife, nature, animal, sci-fi and fantasy shirts. I am in horrible need of them. Size large. Wolves and big cats, dragons and such are best.

7. Craft supplies; super sculpey, beading and jewelry making supplies, dreamcatcher hoops, or maybe gift certificates or money to purchase such things myself. I find cash tends to work better, because sometimes the stores don't have everything I need, or I can find stuff for better prices at other random places.

8. To be able to afford to continue college after my TOPS scholarship runs out in two more semestars. With no worries, no math. To attain my biology/zoology degree despite my Dyscalculia, which I cannot control. I've worked so hard to get as far as I have, and fought against so many walls along the way. I can't lose it all now just because I can't afford it.

9. To start the foundation for making my freelance business bigger. To sell some of the crafts I have put so much time, effort, and love into this holiday season. To actually have people buy things from me rather than always saying "oh how pretty, I would buy it in a heartbeat". Spend $8 and get something nice for it, and know you helped someone along the way.

10. To be able to make the wishes and dreams of others come true. A friend of mine has a terminal illness and cannot afford to cover doctors bills or pay for medication. I wanted to try and pool a charity donation together to give the proceeds to my friend, so that they might have a brighter holiday, and be able to afford a little something special.

Since most of that was still rather random and vague, here's the wishlist of random items on my website:

I am leaving for New York Friday the 17th. If possible, I'd rather have items sent to where I will be staying there. Contact me and I will be glad to give you the address.

Otherwise you may use my postal box address if you'd like to send me a card. Cards are nice. I will happily return the favor. Just keep in mind if you DO send something to my PO box I WILL NOT get it until mid January when I return home, unless I can get my mother to collect all my mail and bulk ship it to me. So don't feel offended if I don't offer my thanks right away. I shall offer it now in advance. Please put your livejournal names somewhere so I will know who to thank!

My PO Box:

Brittney Steptoe
PO Box 2784
Slidell, LA 70459-2784
USA

Please keep in mind the mailbox I have is small ( 3" x 5.75" ). Postcards, letters, and things of that nature are okay to send here. Packages are not. If you'd like to send me a package, let me know so I can tell you where to send it.

Looking forward to filling more holiday wishes. Bright blessings and happy holidays to all!

What kinds of crafts do you make? I'd love to see them.
