Dec. 3rd, 2014 09:04 am1. for my spouse,
bugland /
alasandalack to have better health (past three years has gotten worse with MS and epilepsy)
2. for my own health to be better (I've a joint disease (EDS) and as I have to do more around the house, as Bugland can't do much anymore, I get injured more, and end up with more perminant injury and pain. The pain is the hardest and the pain drs seem to care more about the FDA/government than they do about treating the patient's pain as best as can be done. The joint disease wears me down, then combine with other stresses- family, money, etc wears me down more- thats what my dr said anyway as to why I managed to get a relapse of Mono after I had a cold several weeks back. I am too old for mono (and to young for all over joint pain). very depressing and frustrating)
3. we have a disability service dog who is a big help but he got sick and injured too this year. He was so sick, we thought he was going to die for a while. But after expensive tests (xrays, spinal tap, MRI of his brain and spine...) he is now on medication, doing better and expected to make a full recovery. I have a webpage that is all about the story of our dog- and I would appreciate peopel checkign it out... at the very least, even if you don't read it, to get some page hits for advertising. There is info on the page though too if you want to make a donation. I also have put artwork that I made over the years on ebay in hopes of making some money that way to help with the vet bills. This is the webpage with his story: http://rodentfancy.com/pets/help-for-mickey-our-dog/ and here are my ebay auctions: http://www.ebay.com/usr/myomorpha If you could share these links anyplace you think others may be interested- like on your twitter or FB accounts, especially if you are in any groups related to disabilites or dogs or art etc, that would be very appreaciated.
4. My camera died. It was a Canon S5IS. I had it for about 7 years I think... I would like another camera - don't care if its new or used, just that its the same or better quality. I miss taking artistic photos, and its hard to sell art and stuff online if you cant get good photos of it (I've been borrowing my mom's camera phone, but she's 45 minutes away so its very inconvenient, and its no where near as good quality as my canon was).
5. Amazon is sort of a requirement for these lists, isn't it? My wish list: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/3L8OAYYUWCO7D Used books are always welcomed, as are books not on the list but that are related to anything medieval (esp cornwall and the rest of what is now the UK, poland, russia, italy (esp Sicilia); Ancient mesopotamia and egypt; comparitive world religions/myths; folklore and fairytales; Breeding and care thru all life cycles of dogs, dog behaviour and training (esp if related to Service Dogs)(But nothing by / endorsed by Ceasar Milan the so called 'dog whisperer'), Behaviour/training/intellegence of African Grey Parrots. Computer programming (I'm alrady good with Perl, I would like to learn Lisp next), Genetics (esp if related to dogs, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, rats, gerbils, rabbits, sheep (yes, we have minature pet sheep!), chickens, pigeons also, Population Genetics, Evolution, etc.). You can check if I have a book already by search my Library Thing account: https://www.librarything.com/profile/AGangi If you want to send something not on my Amazon wishlist (or that is on it, but via another source besides amazon) my mailing address is below. Online verions of books are great too but prefferably in PDF or just a HTML webpage; I don't have / use 'readers' (actually I do have an old Nook, but we rooted it to make it an android tablet). I know there is software to read kindle or nook on any computer, but im just used to and preffer PDF. So if you only have a book in one of those formats, thats fine, I will still be able to enjoy it, but if you have multiple versions, the PDF is my choice.
That's it.
Cheers,
A.
(If you want to pray, go ahead, but please do not share it with me. Too many negative associations. thanks.)
