1. TV shows/movies/music/book (recs): I guess I just don't follow the right crowd because I never know of the cool happenings media-wise. I have my own list of tv shows to watch before I die (List Here), I would love to cross some off and add some more on. A lot of money not required, but even media CDs are fine by me! And for movies, recs are great, I can find them on my own (hopefully). ;-) I have seen about... not a lot of movies, so if you think I've seen it, I probably haven't. I am finally getting into my own music and it feels good. But I am always wanting new (or old) things to listen to. I draw the line at hip-hop. They say nothing and pretty much degrade everything. So mixed CDs (with track list) or just recs (and yousendit.com would be great too!).
2. Pictures!: I'm such a picture whore, even though I have none. I really need to go to Target and print some off. Anyway, I would love a picture of you, a picture you took that you like, or a famous picture. My walls are being blank and boring, and my photo albums are collecting dust. Also, I have this weird tendency to want to know who the people I talk to/read about look like. (But I hate posting my own pictures up, go figure!) Actual physical pictures are best, but I would love digital ones to add to my laptop collection too.
4. Letter/Holiday Card/Postcard/Call/Comment: Make my day, be my friend. The rush of having mail is always exciting, even moreso in the email age. I still adore emails though. A little pick-me-up for my week. And my cell never rings, anyone want to remedy that?
5. Scarf/socks/gloves: Who can live without scarves, socks, and gloves? I know I can't.
6. (LJ) Friends (that comment): Most of my LJ are slackers (mwah! I love you FL!) but there is no such thing as too many friends! I promise to comment once every... week (I'll try once every few entries but things are busy sometimes.) ETA: If you add me, please comment on my friends only post at my LJ. Thanks so much!
7. Buttons/Budges/Bumper Sticker: This is the liberal-Olympian in me. I love buttons and bumper stickers. I need to spruce up my car soon too. But nothing conservative. I'm a left-winger. Funny is awesome too though! If you had buttons or stickers lying around in your room not being used, send 'em over! Or, ya know, fandom ones
8. Hug(s): Someone asked me what I wanted for Christmas one year and I replied a hug. They lived in Texas and I here, so I was referring to, don't get me anything. They still did get me stuff, so be creative in this one, folks. Except RL people, you can hug me...
9. Paid account/user pics: It's the cool thing to do. Hehe. Seriously, me = dying with only three icons
10. Do something good: Talk to a long-lost friend. Donate to a charity. Make yourself useful and bring a smile to someone's face.
ETA: I'm really not picky though, I'm sure anything you have lying around your house I would love because I'm such a packrat (but not a messy one! Ironically, I'm quite neat.) I love candy tins also, if you have any of those. Or anything really, trust me. Especially things from other countries (I live in the US), anything from other countries, even... garbage. Junk. But clean junk. ;-)
Since I am going to trust the friendly people at

Date: 2005-11-21 05:29 am (UTC)I've seen about half of the movie recs and most I like much, I didn't enjoy Napoleon Dynamite. I thought it had some good one-liners, but as a movie, didn't flow as well as a good movie should. And it is extremely overrated. Complete ND mayhem last year. HP is a wonderful thing. GoF was not a disappointment. And are you sure about the Shark Boy and Lava Girl rec?
Thanks again!
