This took me much too long to think up
Nov. 8th, 2005 02:43 pmEveryone has been saying how awesome it is that it's making another go-round, but I would like to repeat that myself. Now I just have to get some postcards made and out the door!
1. Lunapads. I'd love to get the starter set but that's pricey. So just a Mini Pad would be awesome. [warning to the squimish and/or boys: These are mensturation related products. You may be squicked.]
rosyshimmer is the AWESOME.
2. A donation to AIDS Marathon. I wasn't able to finish my marathon because of injury, but I raised over $2,100 for the organization and went from not being able to run more than two miles into running over 14 miles. They are awesome and do awesome work for the Whitman-Walker clinic.
3. I would love flowers at the office. [email octopus.gallery at gmail.com for the address.] Oh, I have a coworker who is deathly allergic to lilies, so no lilies please!
4. Michelle Sagara's [currently West] Lady of Mercy. They've reprinted the first two in the series but not the last and I have all of them but #3.
5. Mail, cards,pornography etc. :)
6. Soft pastels/chalks. You can never have too many colors.
7. True Blue Shea Butter Foot Cream from Bath and Body Works. This stuff is *amazing* on the skin. I highly recommend it. Also makes for a nice massage cream. ;)
8. Gift cards to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. Because sometimes you just want to splurge on the really weird organic stuff.
9. Micron Pens. Great, great art pens. Also good for writing Ancient Greek.
10. Music! Send me your favorite MP3. I've got gmail or YSI works great.
Like I said, email me for address at octopus.gallery at gmail.com. If you could, put Holiday Wishes in the subject so I can keep track of who to send thank you notes to. ;)
