Nov. 19th, 2005 07:46 pmHi everybody!
I was inspired to do this by one of my friends, who did this whole wish-list thing last year and enjoyed it enough to carry on with it this year, so I thought I'd give it a try myself!
Here's what I'd call my wish-list.
1. "The Nightmare before Christmas" soundtrack. Too long I've been having those songs stuck in my head without actually listening to them at the same time!
2. Anything that you think might help me learn Turkish. (:
3. Cards. Letters. Anything that fits into an envelope. Write to me about what makes you happy. Or write a story. I love getting (and sending) mail. I can also guarantee a reply. ;)
4. A hat-type-of-thing. I'm guessing of the orange-yellow-red variety.
5. Donate blood.
6. G.O.R.A. on DVD. (See, I need the English subtitles for my Turkish-impaired friends and the Turkish subtitles for the... Turkish-impaired me. It's the sort of film you want your friends to see.)
7. Candles of any sort. I miss having a fireplace and so I compensate that with lots of candles during the winter (about 15 at a time).
8. Anything with macadamia nuts in them (can you believe we don't have those here?! The stores just don't sell any!).
9. Snow. Well, I figure that if someone out there just happens to control the weather and just happens to read this here, then I'll have a white wintertime guaranteed, so it's worth the shot (and Calvin would be with me on that one).
10. Smile to people. It really does help to brighten ones day, I can tell from my own experience. (:
Now I'm off to write cards. Good fun!
As for contact information, it can be found
Ask around in my personal journal.
and e-mail is stealing_sunshine [at] yahoo [dot] com - if you have requests for cards then feel free to send your address there.

Date: 2005-11-28 01:11 pm (UTC)Of course! Anything handmade is cool in my book. I can't knit much myself (if I try, my wrists try to kill me) so I appreciate anyone who'd do that for lil' ol' me.
Incidentally, would you mind sending me your address?
