1. Christmas cards!
They're fun to receive and not hard to send. I'd be happy to send you (yes you!) one too if you'd like. Just leave a comment with your address or send it over to eevee_gurl@livejournal.com No guarantees on the quality of the card (hey, they're expensive!) when I reach over 10-15 people! But there'll be a card, nevertheless.
2. Candies!
I'm such a sucker for food, and what better way to celebrate the Christmas cheer with a sweet in your mouth? Because I don't live in the US, I don't actually have access to most of the junk food people rant about. (I'm really fascinated by long paper tubey things full of sugar (I have no idea what they're called.))I'm a big fan of most sweets, save the odd one like licorice. If there's anything in particular people want from Hong Kong or China, I'll do my best to get it to you!
3. A movie poster!
Living in China, you'd think that we get most of the Made in China products cheap. Actually we do. And we get a lot of cheap fakes here, too. But surprisingly, I haven't been able to find any posters around. I'd love a full sized poster to call my own. (Feel free to ask if I like a movie if you happen to have a poster you don't want lying around.)
4. Pretty jewelry!
I'm a sucker for pretty jewelry, earrings especially. I fell in love with them ever since I got my ears pierced. And well, yeah! That's that.
5. A scarf!
I really love scarves. Big and fuzzy are the way to go, but nice little scarves for just simple decoration are awesome too.
6. iPod Video!
I honestly don't expect this to be granted, but I thought I'd just throw it out there. Wheee! It's be amazing to have, what with all the cool stuff I could do with it like watch TV shows =D
7. A donation to your local pet charity!
Here, we have RSPCA but I'm not sure what people in the US have. In the small community, we try to home strays and give them food and shelter. We do what we can to neuter them so that the number of cats don't multiply just so the next generation can live out in the wild and be killed. There's only so much we can do with China, especially since people aren't usually willing to do anything for pets. May the pets have a beautiful christmas as well =)
8. Your favorite Christmas recipe!
Sure, we have limited resources in terms of ingredients, but a lot of things we can get from somewhere else and so I'd love to make something Christmasy for Xmas if we can't get it store-bought =D
9. You do to do something nice for a friend!
I wasn't feeling very well the other day, and my friend was just so nice and caring and understanding. I really appreciated all he did for me. He didn't judge me at all and was cheering me up, and it just made me realize how great friends are.
10. Lip balm!
I'm a big fan of everything lip-y and I used to be more into lip gloss but now I've begun liking lip balm more. Squeeee!
Edit - I really should've included an

melted white chocolate chips, pour over...
- your favorite flavor of cheerios
- m&ms (red and green for that extra holiday flavor!)
- pretzels/pretzel sticks
- peanuts
- chex pieces
mix it all together, let dry.
Of course, add anything else you think may taste good when covered in white chocolate, and remove anything you don't think you'd like.
My friend Brittany has made this for her friends every year during the holidays, and I just figured I'd share the yummy desserty salty-sweet goodness. :D

Date: 2005-12-07 09:40 pm (UTC)Chinese addresses do look funny. :) Although Russian ones, when put in Latin, may look barely better. Like this: Pushechnaya ul., Zharovnitsy, Nizhegorodskaya obl., Chuvashiya.
