book group

this isn't 10 items, but what i really want to do is have a book club, where someone reads a book, sends it to the next person, and it keeps traveling.

totally off of livejournal, i know about the ones on here.

i like reading pretty much anything other than romance and sci-fi.

maybe since i didn't put 10 items i can get 10 people who would be interested in doing this too.

on http://www.bookcrossing.com people do this sort of thing all the time. They call them book rings or book rays depending on whether the book goes back to the original owner at the end or whether it just keeps going. Each person can add a journal entry to the book with their thoughts and it's easy for everyone to see where the book is at any given time. Check it out!
