I'm really really excited about this. I'm a college student with a family so it's hard to be able to relate to people sometimes and I'd really like to make other people's holidays brighter.

Things I would like for Christmas:

1.) I need a new pair of lucky pink slippers. My old pair are almost destroyed and for some reason they make me less nervous about taking tests or writing papers.

2.) A really soft sweater, any color, size small or medium.

3.) A beaded headdress thing. They've just always fascinated me.

4.) Any Mystery Science Theater 3000 movies.

5.) Gingerbread cookie molds. I love baking gingerbread cookies.

6.) Sewing machine. Don't care age, features, size, etc as long as it works.

7.) Christmas decorations!

8.) Pretty nightgown, think bridal looking, in white, red, or black. Elegant looking. Size small or medium

9.) A flash icon with pictures of my cat (affectionately known as "the love cat") so that it goes with a picture of the cat, then a picture of one of my younger son, then a picture of the cat again with the text going : love cat, baby, love cat. I'm terrible with anything using a computer and that would be really cool.

Mail things to:

Thanks in advance everyone!

I so want to help with #9, but I don't have an animator! If you want, however, I could make bases for you and you can get someone to animate them, or I can make a still icon with both pics and your text.

I can't make you the icon, but I bet I can get [livejournal.com profile] christyxjane to. If not, [livejournal.com profile] thefunkyicon is also offering custom icons for anyone. AND you should join [livejournal.com profile] love_designs and [livejournal.com profile] ali_designs2 for other icony goodness. :)

Several years ago, my very talented sister decided that I was sewing machine deprived - especially since the curtains in my home are so ugly it is remarkable, and even *I* can sew a straight seam.

Besides... she wanted a new sewing system. So... she had her very nice, fancy (but not quite fancy enough) machine professionally cleaned, serviced, and shipped to me from WA state.

Sad to say, I still have ugly curtains. I have never opened it. (correction: I did open it once, and immediately was swamped by the realization that I am totally inept and inadequate as a female in my family - and then closed the lid in terror...) I have it... with all kinds of mysterious attachments, and even a micro video (that needs some kind of special machine to view it) that describes the beast...

I know what it is like to be a college student and struggling. I however, skipped the "family" part. LOL But I can imagine how much more difficult it is to make ends meet! If you would like to have this for Christmas, I can promise that it worked when she shipped it, and knowing my sister, it is top quality and in good condition (It's a Singer).

Even better... I live in Fort Worth ... so I believe it would be possible to arrange for delivery!

I wish I had a kitty elf Icon right now. Because this is probably the best use I can think of for that machine - But only if you promise it won't sit in a closet and not be used! cecelia.smith (at) gmail.com

Next weekend would be fine. send me an email with contact information at cecelia.smith at gmail.com and we can hook up. I will be in South Fort Worth (off I-20 at exit 35) most of Saturday, and I think I will be home in West Fort Worth on Sunday - although there is a chance I'll be in Dallas on Sunday afternoon. If that happens, maybe we can arrange to meet in Irving on my way back to Fort Worth... we'll figure it out. :)

Well, it seems the wheels fell off this train. :)

I really do have a sewing machine, and you are more than welcome to it. But, you gotta get in touch with me. :) If for some reason you don't want it, let me know.

I am so happy that I was able to deliver the machine - and you are totally sweet to gift me with such a beautiful tea cup! It is perfect! I am attending a ladies tea on Sunday, and we all bring our best cup and saucer... I will bring yours!

Merry Christmas!
