OK, here goes :)
Nov. 28th, 2005 01:40 amWeeeeell, here's my list! I'm looking around for stuff I can do, too
:-)
I know a lot of this stuff is out there. LOL
1. Chocolate! I love chocolate. Cadberry, Milka, Lindt, if you have
some local chocolate you especially like, that's cool, too (we have
places like that, maybe we can do a chocolate trade!) Oh, and Jelly
Babies, even though they aren't chocolate :)
2. The Doctor Who Season 1 box set (you know, the Eccleston season,
the new one that's finished a few months ago). I even have a DVD
player that can be made region-free, I just have to figture out
how.
3. The new Tracy Grammer CD...
4. The new Dar Williams CD...
5. A membership to this audiobook Website
6. [Maybe I should wish to learn to count? I skipped #6 and have to
think of something.] Adopt a family or a child for Christmas...you
know, like those things that they always do around this time of
year.
Like here, they have a tree somewhere with the names of needy kids
who
and poor families who won't have anything for the holidays. I mean,
you don't have to bring them home or something, but pick a name, or
find a family, and make some family's Christmas (or whatever)
memorable and special. We're going to do this ourselves, sort of a
tradition we're going to establish with Alena. To sort of, y'know,
combat the hideous commercial Christmas juggernaut in some small
way.
7. Some sort of MP3 recorder.
8. In the "Not bloody likely" department, a Braillenote MPower! (I
can
dream, can't I?)
9. New and interesting people to Email with :-)
10. A 2006 that's as great as 2005 has been, sans quitting a job.
