1. A grey Italian Greyhound puppy
I really could end the list here!! Darn things are not cheap!

2. Money to pay the heat bill. (both husband and I were laid off work in November) Brrrr.

3. Knitting books from my amazon wish list and perhaps yarn to go with it.

4. New underwear, bras & socks(socks for husband too!). I haven't been able to afford any since I went down 2 sizes.

5. Kitty toys (mice, etc.)

6. Tea, bags, loose leaf, etc.

7. Antique 1920's paper items, just about any kind really.

8. A Peet's coffee gift card for husband for x-mas. (He got one for his birthday and loved using it to death)

9. Candy stripped x-mas candles from wicksend.com.

10. A manicure

Have you checked with rescues in your area for #1?
I found this one: http://www.cigrescue.org
They have a wait list where you can request, and it appears they are also looking for foster homes (what rescue isn't!) They also have a list of reputable breeders available that you can contact.

Adult dogs are not reccomended to live with adult male cats. Rescue dogs also have to many problems physically that they end up being more expensive to take care of.
