My Wish List (a couple of things, assuming anybody wants to buy them for me, require my address. E-mail me privately for that: lea724 at gmail.com)

1. Anything from my Amazon wish list, used or new. Doesn't matter to me.

2. Gift cards to movie theaters (Regal, mainly), book stores (any of them) or Amazon.com.

3. Books. Books that are witty. That are clever. That have characters you admire/respect/love/relate to. That make you tell all of your friends that they Must Read this book. Recommendations are great.

4. Gift packages of miscellanea.

5. Donate money or time to an animal charity (well, really any charity of your choice, but I prefer the animal ones)

6. Surprise me! Look at my interests to see what I like and then use your imagination.

Book Recommendation

It's famous, it's sold tens of millions of copies, and so the chances are you've read it before, however should you have not read 'To Kill A Mockingbird' by Harper Lee then I urge you to do so. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

I highly recommend The Losers by David Eddings, The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan or 101 Damnations, which is a collection of essays about pet peeves.

For number three, I definitely recommend Shards of Honor and Barrayar by Lois McMaster Bujold-- even better, they're now sold in an omnibus, Cordelia's Honor, so you get both for the price of one! I admire Cordelia like whoa. :)

For number five, I give you The Animal Rescue Site (http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDSites.woa), where clicking each day helps feed shelter animals across the country. Great way to give, and it costs maybe five seconds out of your day! I've got it (and its sister sites) bookmarked, and I always click every evening. :) Animal-related charities are dear to my heart; I'm a volunteer at the local shelter. :)

Thank you so much! I've just put Cordelia's Honor on hold at the library. And thanks for the link to the Animal Rescue Site. I visit there as often as I remember to click the button. It's a wonderful site. :)
