Hi! I was sent here by another LJ friend, and I have to say that it looks like quite a bit of fun! :) I'm Kristi, and I run the dailycrush "Happiness is a State of Mind" LJ, and I'm looking forward to making some wishes come true as well as maybe getting a surprise or two!

And as for my Wishes? Tah-Dahhhh! Here they are!

- Paid LJ account time - dailycrush is basically a daily cheer-up/fun site for "subscribers," and I'd love to make the site even cooler for them in 2006. :)

- New Friends for said DailyCrush site! Hope to see you there!

- Any gig posters, promo posters, flats, t-shirts, stickers for my guitar case, etc., of Britpop bands - ANYTHING, I love so many of these bands - Oasis, Snow Patrol, Keane, Travis, Blur, Gorillaz, Doves, Coldplay, or any other cool soundalike bands you think I might like!

- Pretty much anything from ThinkGeek!

- Any old Star Trek: The Next Generation or Star Wars memorabilia for a couple of my friends who collect that stuff like crazy

- Any of your artwork! I adore original art, and do lots of my own, so I might even send you something cool back :)

- For you to check out my Fizzzz site!! I just put it up before the holidays, and it's got lots of my handmade stuff on there, if you're looking for quirky gifts. Even if you don't shop, please feel free to stop by and let me know what you think! (There's an LJ to go with, if you want to Friend that, too - it's at fizzzz!)

- If you live in a different country, I'd love anything representative of your country's cool pop culture - I am saving up to do some travelling myself, so these little quirky bits of where you live will help keep me motivated!

- Crock Pot or Toaster Oven recipes - LOL - because I just moved into a flat with, oddly, no stove, grr, so I'm trying to figure out what the heck to cook!

- Anything off of my always-morphing Amazon Wishlist, of course, if you're so inclined! Used, new, whichever. :)

One of my favourite bands, Parasite City, is coming to UK next february. They play really energetic rock and have powerful stage presence. From their homepage you can download their new single Secretly Mine.

Hey, thanks so much for responding! :)

I checked out that band, not quite my thing, but my boyfriend adores Guns N'Roses, and they're a lot like them, so I downloaded the single for him, I think he'll really like it!! :)

And yeah, it would be so great to get some stuff from Finland! I'll email you my snail mail address...
