Dec. 11th, 2005 07:26 pm1. Crochet for Dummies (or another food beginner crochet book). I knit, but I'd love to learn to crochet properly.
2. A dog. A real life middle sized (because my husband hates small ones) mongrel dog, if possible. All other possibilities gratefully accepted.
3. Clothes in fancy new colours. (So not black or purple or pink). I'm a UK 14-16.
4. A stein with a lid.
5. Butterscotch pudding, or a good butterscotch pudding recipe that I can make in the UK.
6. Some dead reindeer that I can cook.
7. More chalet school books. These are the ones I haven't got.
8. A t-shirt with velcro across the front and velcro letters.
9. Delivery Kings to start delivering to our road, rather than just the road round the corner from us.
10. Peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

Date: 2005-12-12 03:00 am (UTC)1 1/2 cups milk (you may need to check a measurement converter; I think your cups are a different size than ours in the USA. For us, a cup is 8 oz.)
1/2 an egg (scrambling it and then pouring in half. Or I simply use an egg substitute--1/8th of a cup of Egg Beaters, which is the equivilent of 1/2 an egg--pouring it directly from the carton)
1 1/2 TB cornstarch.
Whisk this mixture together and then heat it in the microwave for one minute. Take it out, whisk it again, and heat again for another minute. Continue doing this until the mixture thickens (in my microwave, it's about four or five minutes. Take it out, pour in a couple of tablespoons of butterscotch chips, or however much you want, to taste, and mix them in until they melt. I like to eat it hot, right away.
