1. Crochet for Dummies (or another food beginner crochet book). I knit, but I'd love to learn to crochet properly.
2. A dog. A real life middle sized (because my husband hates small ones) mongrel dog, if possible. All other possibilities gratefully accepted.
3. Clothes in fancy new colours. (So not black or purple or pink). I'm a UK 14-16.
4. A stein with a lid.
5. Butterscotch pudding, or a good butterscotch pudding recipe that I can make in the UK.
6. Some dead reindeer that I can cook.
7. More chalet school books. These are the ones I haven't got.

.. *laughs* We have the Instant Jell-o pudding butterscotch mix sitting on our pantry shelf, methinks. Would you like it, if this indeed so?

Cheers.

I made myself a serving of butterscotch pudding today. Here's how I make it, serving one:

1 1/2 cups milk (you may need to check a measurement converter; I think your cups are a different size than ours in the USA. For us, a cup is 8 oz.)
1/2 an egg (scrambling it and then pouring in half. Or I simply use an egg substitute--1/8th of a cup of Egg Beaters, which is the equivilent of 1/2 an egg--pouring it directly from the carton)
1 1/2 TB cornstarch.

Whisk this mixture together and then heat it in the microwave for one minute. Take it out, whisk it again, and heat again for another minute. Continue doing this until the mixture thickens (in my microwave, it's about four or five minutes. Take it out, pour in a couple of tablespoons of butterscotch chips, or however much you want, to taste, and mix them in until they melt. I like to eat it hot, right away.
