Dec. 13th, 2005 10:35 pmI just want to say first that I think this is a great community idea.
My wishes:
1. More time! Seriously, I have about 193652 projects I am working on and not enough time! It's hard to go to school full-time, work, and have hobbies! :D
2. To have lost 75 lbs by my wedding. I've lost 10 already...only 9 months left *squirm* :/
3. Recipies! I have recently learned that I can cook okay. I am gathering and trying out new recipies, and I'd love some that don't involve campbell's soup :D
4. A chick or rabbit.
5. Starbucks :D
6. Some faithful blog fans :D I only use my LJ for my icons, my real blog is on my site, and I don't really have many visitors. :/ I guess I'm not very interesting...but...I try :D
7. A DSL/TV company that is NOT SBC!
8. To be rid of my old texts.
9. New sheets and blankies! We got our last sets from linens and things, but teh kitten has torn them apart.
10. A little bitty help (perhaps via paypal?) to keep my site running. I have a lot of websites, and I love them ALL, but they do use time, energy, electricity... :D
My email is jesirose@gmail.com, if anyone wants to email me greetings!
Happy Holidays everyone!!

Date: 2005-12-16 10:00 am (UTC)Ingredients
1 chicken (3-1/2 lb.), cut up
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-1/4 teaspoons salt, divided
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3/4 cup chopped onions
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) Italian-style stewed tomatoes
1/3 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove skin from all chicken pieces except wings; trim any visible fat. Cut chicken breasts crosswise in half.
2. Heat oil in large roasting pan in oven 2 minutes. Combine flour, 1 teaspoon of the salt, oregano and ground pepper in large resealable plastic bag; add chicken pieces, tossing to coat well with flour mixture. Remove chicken from bag, arrange in hot oil in roasting pan; bake 20 minutes.
3. Stir onions into roasting pan with chicken; bake 15 minutes, stirring once.
4. Add tomatoes with their liquid, wine and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt, using spoon to break up tomatoes. Bake 10 minutes more or until chicken is cooked through. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Makes 4 servings.
