Mod Post: Deadlines!

Hi Everyone!

As you probably have noticed, wishlists are still appearing on the community. The un-official deadline for posting wishlists will be January 15th, 2007, so if you have not yet posted a wishlist please do so before then. There will be a two-week grace period during which if we're still receiving more than 1 post per day, we'll approve them. The official deadline will be January 31st, 2007 after which any and all posts, wishlists or otherwise, will be rejected and so on until we re-open on November 1st, 2007 for next holiday season.

holiday_thanks will remain open throughout the summer, though we will place it under moderation to prevent spamming. Feel free to make any holiday_wishes related posts (i.e. questions about next year), even if they aren't specifically thank you's to people who've given you things.

Within the next few days, the mods will be posting a few feedback posts or polls to see how everyone thought this year went, and if you have any suggestions for next year. I hope that those of you still around with this community on your friends lists will participate!

Aw, I like the late wishlists =P There should be a year-round community like this!
